Mordheim Reiklanders

Last fall, I got deep into the idea of trying Mordheim. Thankfully, I found a great group playing at Red Claw in Edmonton. This is my first warband.

I wanted to keep it simple. A group of incompetents led by a misguided narcissist named Hans Groober felt about right.

The Youngbloods are my favourite. Baron Groober’s daughter, Ingrid, is the son he never had. She takes charge and is clearly the real brains behind the operation. Leonard is Baron Groober’s nephew, Wilhem Klaus Ottfried Schreiber. A bookworm raised on valourous tales, but not built for this kind of work. His fear of the dark does not help.

Baron Groober’s champions are his right-hand men; Theo Ludenhof and Heinrich “Karl” Groober. They would do anything for him and his family. The henchmen he has hired vary in loyalty, but most seem to enjoy the unfolding comedy of it all.
